John Molander, PE
John is the founding President and Chief Engineer of Venti-Now. John received his BSME from Cornell University and joined P&G after graduation. He holds an Ohio professional engineering license and has held positions of increasing responsibility at P&G in manufacturing, engineering, and R&D before retiring. He has seventeen patents for products, materials, and processes and received P&G’s highest award for innovation in 2002. In 2007 he was appointed the Technology Entrepreneur Connect+Develop role, responsible for the P&G global baby care business. John retired in 2012 after almost 34 years of service at P&G and is now active in open innovation and process development consulting. John received the NSPE National Mentoring award for his work with young engineers and is the Cincinnati Chair for MathCounts junior high mathematics program.
Medical Team Leader
Dr. Peter Campbell, MD
Dr. Peter Campbell is the Medical Team Leader for Venti-Now. He is the Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, College of Engineering and Applied Science where he guides students in the development of Capstone medical device projects. He holds numerous medical design patents for catheter delivery systems and has built and tested medical device designs including leading clinical research trials on humans, training physicians and ensuring protocol compliance. Dr. Campbell has extensive medical device industry experience with both commercial and university entities such as Boston Scientific, Baxter and Stanford University. Peter conducted Phase II trials for Inhale Theraupeutic Systems, received IRB approvals and set up the GMP documentation system for device testing and manufacturing.Dr. Campbell received his Doctor of Medicine from Xavier University School of Medicine and is a published author of medical
Design/Engineering Team Leader
Art Koehler is the Venti-Now Engineering & Design Team Leader. Art has forty-one years’ industry experience in product technical engineering, quality engineering, reliability engineering, computer aided engineering, consumer product design and manufacturing processes. He was the P&G Principal Investigator for cooperative research with: Los Alamos National Laboratory; Sandia National Laboratory; Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; University of Cincinnati; and Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Art is a Panel Member, US Air Force Manufacturing Technology Program, 2012. Recipient: R&D100 Award 2003; Council for Chemical Research, Collaboration Success Award 2004. Contributing author: National Academy of Sciences, Defense Acquisition, 2005; National Institute of Standards & Technology, First Part Correct 2002; Integrated Manufacturing Technology Initiative, Modeling & Simulation 1998. Multiple methods patents: Reliability Engineering; Computer Aided Engineering; Modeling & Simulation. Art received his degree in BEME, City College of New York, 1978.
Mark Peterson is the COO of Venti-Now, managing operations and licensing. Mark retired from P&G (June 2016) after nearly 40 years of service. His most recent P&G role was as Director, Global Business Development, responsible for leading business to business negotiations where Business Model innovation was required including licensing Trademarks, Technologies and Know-How, as well as minority equity investments and Joint Ventures. Mark spent the first 26 years of his career in Sales roles including leading the formation and execution of P&G’s customer team approach with teams including K-Mart and Super Valu and he also led the Canadian Sales Organization with responsibility for 800 employees and $2.5B in Sales responsibilities. Mark recently joined the Queen City Angels as a member-investor supporting start-up companies in the Greater Cincinnati region. Mark graduated with a BBS in Management from Notre Dame in 1976.
Judith (Judy) Meritz is the FDA/Regulatory Team Leader for Venti-Now. Judy is a partner in Meritz & Muenz, LLP and advisor to YourEncore. Judy specializes in strategic planning for product clearances, government enforcement resolution and due diligence with regard to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other international regulatory authorities. She previously served as FDA/Regulatory counsel for Medtronic and prior to the merger for Covidien. Former positions include Assistant General Counsel for the American Red Cross and Director of Regulatory Affairs for Henry Schein, Inc. She began her career as an enforcement attorney with the U.S. EPA.
Judy’s holds a B.A. from American University, Master Degrees in Higher Education and Political Science from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctorate from Pace University.
Supply/Manufacturing Team Leader
Bill Wise is the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Team Leader for Venti-Now. Bill is the founder and principal of WCPC, a boutique consumer packaged goods (CPG) company founded in 2000. WCPC brings healthcare technology to market. Bill is an alumnus of both P&G and J&J, and received an Industrial Engineering degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. a serves on the board of DCWH. Bills enjoys playing ice hockey, coaching lacrosse, as well as big mountain skiing with his family.
Kristine handles all media inquiries, marketing strategies, and communications for Venti-Now. She is the CEO of K.G. Consulting, Inc., which provides strategic marketing, communications and business planning services. She has owned and sold two prior businesses and has two decades of communications and business management experience with start-up, corporate, academic, government and agency entities across the globe. She is a strategic advisor to Loud Capital in Columbus and an ad hoc Board Member to Special Olympics Ohio. She is an accomplished speaker, mentor to female business owners, and BusinessWeek named her "One of Nine Women to watch".
Brad Lawson is the Funding Team Leader for Venti-Now and is working with various philanthropic and non-profit organizations to secure the necessary capital to launch and scale the manufacturing and scale-up of Venti-Now Emergency Ventilator.
Mr. Lawson co-founded YourEncore in October 2003. Brad is known for being an entrepreneurial executive, exhibiting significant experience in building and managing professional services and business consulting organizations.
Sales Team Leader
Dan Peterson is the Sales Team Lead for Venti-Now. He has 34 years of sales experience in an executive capacity with P&G. As Global Sales Leader of the P&G Oral Care category, Dan utilized his expertise in leading large, diverse, global organizations to develop channel and customer strategies, deliver shopper marketing plans, create profitable customer marketing programs, establish and maintain senior executive relationships at key customers and create/execute results driven sales plans. Dan is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati teaching senior level sales classes and coaching the highly ranked UC Varsity Sales Team, successfully competing in regional and national events. Dan received both his B.A. and MBA from Christian Brothers University.
Laura is responsible for the branding, website design and maintenance, social media, and office needs for Venti-Now. She received her BSD in Fashion Design from the University of Cincinnati and her MFA in Costume Technology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is currently the Costume Shop Draper for the College Conservatory of Music at University of Cincinnati. Her work experience in movie, opera, theatre, and dance includes; producer James Franco, Tuacahn, Santa Fe Opera, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and Costume Gallery. She incorporates new technologies into costuming such as; illuminated designs, microprocessors, laser cutting, 3D printing, and computer aided design.
